Casual photography and Astro-Art

Casual Photography:
Although I certainly have a fair amount of "casual" astronomy-related photos, I haven't spent the time to post them here yet. Hopefully soon!

Astro-Art:
The days I can go out to do astrophotography are very VERY limited. For most of the work I do, besides clear skies, the Moon must be in or near its "new" phase, and even clear skies sometimes is not enough when the transparency just isn't there. Add to that I cannot just go and stay up until 3-5am whenever I want to, and the days I can do astrophotography may be not more than 2-3 times in any given month (sometimes even less; some other times when I'm lucky I can push that number to 5 or 6 "outings") .

So... sometimes... when I haven't done any REAL astrophotography for a long time, I may go back to some of my images and completely take them out of the context of "Astrophotography" and use them to create "Astro-Art", that is, images that contain elements from astrophotography but as a elements in a composition that as a whole, it's not real. If you don't see many images here (or any at all at this very moment) is because I don't do Astro-Art very often.
