COMMENTS
This was my first experiment imaging with a barlow. Little I knew that by multiplying by two the focal ratio, the time to gather the same amount of light and detail increases by a factor of 4 (aprox). So there I was taking just a few short 6 minutes exposures on the Sombrero galaxy, which was also pretty low in the horizon.

In any case, this is a beautiful object I will definitely revisit again when it's again well positioned in the sky next year.
