About Deep Sky Colors and me
Want to know a bit about me? Ok, read on... If you wonder about my name, I was born in Spain, although I've been living in the US for over 20 years now. During the day I run a small Internet company I founded in 2000, and I'm also a husband and a father. Then, during new moon and cloudless nights, whenever I can, I load my telescopes, cameras, and other astro gear in my car, head to darker locations, and do astrophotography - that is, taking pictures of deep sky objects: galaxies, nebulae, clusters, etc. DeepSkyColors.com is where I post all my astrophotos, ever since the day I started this hobby. So what you'll see is somehow my - hopefully - evolution, from my very beginnings, starting on that first cold night at Dinosaur Point on December 3rd, 2007, until the day you visit this page. If you're curious, on the upper-left you'll see some links where you can find out what equipment I use to take my photos, where I usually go to take them (I don't have an observatory of my own), or what to do if you'd like to get a poster, mousepad, etc. of any of my images.
I hope you enjoy my photos, and if you want to drop me a line,
feel free to do so in the comments section of any of the images.
